Port Douglas departures: Entry Fees to be paid on arrival at Mossman Gorge Visitor Centre.
SELF GUIDED WALK
Check-in at the Visitor Centre and board the Eco Shuttle to the 3km walking track. The track starts with an elevated walkway into the forest canopy.
Crossing a suspension bridge, the track continues along a circuit trail with informative signs along the way.
Allow 1½ hours to complete the circuit at a leisurely pace. Board the shuttle back to the Visitor Centre in time to catch the BTS Port Douglas Bus.
Bus Departs 12.45pm and 3.00pm
What to wear / bring
- enclosed walking footware
- lightweight clothing, hat
- swimmers & towel if you plan to dip in the rock pools
- insect repellent, sun screen
- bottled water, rain poncho (can be purchased at Mossman Gorge)
NOTE: swimming in the Gorge can be dangerous during wet weather.
